Ann & I are proud to put forward as one of the greatest orator’s of modern times, the Honorable Patrick Henry: patriot, statesman, hero, and eloquent spokesman for the American Revolution.
Washington was known as the sword of the revolution. Jefferson was known as the pen of the revolution. Patrick Henry was known as the tongue of the revolution for his eloquence and passion in pleading the cause of liberty. He was America’s first Revolutionary Persuader! His impassioned plea against the infamous Stamp Tax first earned him notice with the line, “If this be treason, then make the most of it!”. 10 years later he cemented his place in American Revolutionary history for his famous line, “Give me liberty or give me death!”
He had a highly developed skill for ‘reading’ his audience. Very little of his speeches were recorded for posterity because he did not write out his speeches but rather gave them extemporaneously. This skill came from several sources. He was student of the art of oratory including vocal variety. He developed a logical thinking pattern that gave clarity to his speeches. He practiced being spontaneous and speaking from the heart. He learned to gauge his audience. These developed skills gave his speeches a power and eloquence that mesmerized and stirred his audiences. He combined Truth & Passion with the carefully honed skill of conversational delivery for the common man. He spoke with Revolutionary Persuasion!
Ann and I are dedicated to helping men and women develop those same skills that will help you be Revolutionary and Persuasive so that this great country may continue to be the land of free and the home of the brave.
